The tour starts at 9.00 in the morning in Catania, at the typical market of the city, where the lively folklore strikes and cheers every passerby, an almost obligatory stop where you can taste the refreshing drink of the kiosks, created with tamarind syrups, tangerine or lemon; a real cure-all on hot days.
The tour continues through the streets of the center, discovering the baroque Catania, a walk to the house of the Princes of Catania and the historic residence.
Sicilian granita
At the end of this fascinating tour, through the streets of the city it becomes impossible to resist the temptation to taste an amazing granita Sicilian, served with cream and brioche, a real treat for all palates.
Mountain flavours
To dispose of all the accumulated calories, I will accompany you to discover the beauty of the landscapes offered by the Etna volcano, in an exciting trek between laves and woods, where the explosive force of nature is manifested in all its magnificence.
After the long hike, a pleasant stop in the cellar to enjoy a typical appetizer composed of: pecorino cheese, olives, meats and local wines that are a wonderful prelude to a lunch with typical dishes: pasta with broccoli and ricotta, grilled meat with salad and last but not least, a good cannolo.
Immediately after lunch, I will take you to the mythological Cyclops Riviera for a boat excursion, commemorating the Odyssey in a beautiful Ionian Sea at sunset of an unforgettable day.
